Concord and Western Quarters jointly sponsored the now annual Parents Morning Off at the Cabin at Westtown School on a snowy Saturday morning. With the help of 3 volunteers, and the two Coordinators, 14 children between the ages of 5-11 spent the morning creating and moving! They played with play dough, created ornaments, decorated placemats, decorated cookies, and played outside (and inside..). A game of Frazzlerham (a Quaker game invented at a Quaker school) was led by Elson Blunt and Tom Haviland, and children also went for walks and made forts…. We enjoyed a pizza lunch and snacks of pretzels and apples. A good time was had by all, and parents enjoyed their morning off! We hope to do this again! - Lynne Piersol
