On Saturday, March 13, Concord Quarter held a hike and scavenger hunt at the Okehocking Preserve in Willistown Township. 11 children, their parents and other nature loving adults joined together for this event. It was a lovely sunny day and we hiked and looked for the items on the scavenger hunt which included the British Artillery lichen, a bat house, fungus, water birds and more. We ended with a circle and listened to a creation story read by Melinda Wenner Bradley from West Chester Meeting, followed by a short worship. Some brought lunch and lingered. The event was greatly appreciated as our first in person event in over a year. Planning was truly a collaborative effort with volunteers from West Chester, Goshen, and Middletown helping the CQ Coordinator. See pictures below!
