11:15 – 12:15 Meeting for Worship (worship begins with all ages together for a story about Priscilla Makhino, told in the manner of Godly Play.

Marian Baker’s Ministry Supporting Quaker Women in East Africa
Marian Baker, member of Weare Meeting in New Hampshire, and clerk of United Society of Friends Women International—Northeast Region, has pursued a ministry of supporting Quaker women in the countries of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania for decades. She’s provided workshops, visitations, and preaching that have lifted up empowerment and self-support, the helping women find new ways to live fully into their religious communities. Come hear her fabulous stories and ways we can support our East African Friends.
Children’s Program: Following a presentation with Marian Baker (for all ages) about her ministry in East Africa, the children will have their own program before and during worship: exploring games of Kenya, art and textiles from there, and making fruit salad to contribute to shared lunch. Melinda Wenner Bradley of West Chester Meeting will lead the children’s program.
Childcare will be available throughout the whole morning, including meeting for business.
