Program
Part 1 - Christie Duncan-Tessmer, PYM’s General Secretary, is looking forward to sharing with us her view of the journey to and format of the new Yearly Meeting structures. She is eager to hear our questions and thoughts about not only the new structure, but also creating with us a shared vision of our work with and about PYM. As General Secretary, Christie has spent a number of her First Days visiting Quarterly and Monthly Meetings in PYM.
Part 2 - Paula Kline and Paul Spiegel will talk about Sustainable Energy at home and in our Meetings. They are both active with a number of Quaker and non-Quaker sustainability groups. They have led a number of programs for Westtown Monthly Meeting, CQM, and PYM on stewardship, sustainability and transitioning to more sustainable habits for the home and work place.
Children’s Program
The Children's program will utilize Westtown School's 600 acres. We hope to make apple butter again and worship and explore the school's labyrinth. If rain rules the morning, we will be indoors for song and stories. Childcare will be provided.
