Encounters with Fox – Young Persons’ Theatre Presentation
Learn about George Fox, his life and ideas at Quarterly Meeting. The children of the Quarter will present vignettes about George Fox, father of Friends of Truth, at Quarterly Meeting, April 22, 2018 to be held at Birmingham Friends Meeting, 1245 Birmingham Road, West Chester. The intergenerational program will feature the children acting out scenes from George Fox’s life with queries for the group after each vignette. The queries will help our members examine how George Fox’s ideas resonate with Friends in the twenty-first century. All children of the Quarter are invited to play a part in preparing scenery and acting in the vignettes.
Children’s Program
Young friends are invited to join the First Day School. All children of the Quarter will be invited to play a part in preparing scenery and acting in the vignettes. Childcare is available for the youngest beginning at 8:30.
