Early Quakers were known for their evangelical zeal that carried them to many parts of the world bringing their new religious energy to others, as they felt led. Yet in our time “proselytizing” has a negative connotation. Paul Indorf, a member of the PYM Membership Development Support Fund Granting Group, will explore this topic with a presentation and followed by small group sharing. What are the reasons we keep our light hidden from others. Are there ways we can more easily speak about our faith with our relatives, neighbors, and friends?
